Long Shot

About this game

Long Shot is a first-person sniper game. You only see your hands and your weapon as you watch a busy city from across the street. Zoom in with the scope, zoom in again, hold your breath to steady your aim and pick your moment. Crooks who see a knocked-out friend raise the alarm, then they take aim at you, run for the door or set off the bomb, so plan your shots and take cover when a red laser finds you.

Every weapon plays differently: the loud Scout Rifle, a quick Pocket Pistol, a silent Slingshot, a Crossbow, the quiet Whisper Rifle, the huge Thunder .50, the explosive Boom Tube and, for experts, a Hunter Bow that is silent and stops anyone with one arrow. Start with Training, then play 30 missions in five places, from Harbour Heist to Neon Nights, plus a Daily contract, the Shooting gallery and an endless Last stand, from Easy to Expert. Earn coins and gems, or watch an ad, for new weapons and power-ups like Slow-mo, Spotter and Body armour.

How to play

  1. New players: start with Training, then pick a mission and a weapon.
  2. Aim, zoom in once or twice and hold your breath to steady the scope. Far targets need a little height and a little lead.
  3. Knock out crooks without being seen. Loud shots make them look around, and a knocked-out friend sets off the alarm.
  4. When a red laser points at you, take cover until the shot misses. Save the hostages, stop the bombs and finish the job.

Questions and answers

How do I hit far targets in Long Shot?

Zoom in, hold your breath to steady the scope, and aim a little high and a little ahead of a moving target.

Why did the crooks raise the alarm?

Loud shots make them look around, and a crook who sees a knocked-out friend sets off the alarm. Quiet weapons like the Slingshot help.

What do I do when a red laser finds me?

Take cover until the shot misses, then pop back up.
